PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTION
There's nothing quite like being on set, watching all your hard work come to life in the camera monitor. I've been fortunate enough to be a part of 7 major photoshoots for our clients (and many other smaller shoots), each with their own objectives and end-game considerations. Here are just a few of my favorites for you to oggle.
EXPERIENCE KISSIMMEE: 2015 BRAND PHOTOSHOOT

One of the most challenging projects I've worked on to date is the 2015 Brand Photoshoot for Experience Kissimmee Photoshoot which took place in Disney World including Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and Celebration. "Trial by fire" would accurately describe the process with working with the parks first hand, and having to concept, prep and plan the entire shoot, navigate the logistics (and insurance) of shooting in the parks, as well as dealing with a tropical storm the day we were in Disney. It was a project to remember.
Its success garnered a 2015 Silver Addy from Adfed Suncoast.
EXPERIENCE KISSIMMEE: 2018 GUIDE PHOTOGRAPHY

Responsible for; Art Direction · Production Management · Project Management · Concepting · Subcontracting Photography Crew · Scheduling · Insurance · Designing · Post-Production Direction · Guide Layout & Design
As part of the evolution of the Kissimmee Visitor Guide, our team concepted an idea to profile Art Smith, Chef and Founder of Homecomin' in Disney Springs. We wanted to showcase the story behind the restaurant and feature him and the establishment in the dining section of the guide. Our crew went in, interviewed Chef to fill out the content of the story, and we conducted a series of photos, the main image (which is several different captures of the Chef as he buzzes about the restaurant) and supporting imagery to round out the visuals.
Below is a look at the final product:

VISIT LOUDOUN: 2020 CAMPAIGN PHOTOSHOOT

Responsible for; Art Direction · Production Management · Project Management · Scope Creation · Concepting & Presenting to Board · Subcontracting Photography Crew · Scheduling · Designing · Post-Production Direction · Guide Layout & Design
In 2019, our team acquired Visit Loudoun as an Agency of Record client. Through the process of iteration brought on by the COVID Pandemic and shutdown (you can read more about this here), the final campaign direction relied heavily on hyper custom photography to support the messaging. Above are some behind the scenes and setup. What you don't see is all the measuring, recording and adjusting needed to get every shot JUST right, so when I took the final images into photoshop to manipulate them and pair them together, everything perfectly lined up.
Here are the final images as the public saw them running in digital and print ads (click/tap to enlarge):

This image represents the ease with which all types of families can enjoy different aspects of Loudoun, from handmade local sweet treats to inclusive high-adventure activities.

This image represents the two sides of Loudoun Fare: locally handcrafted beverages and delightful dishes made with locally grown ingredients.

This image is all about the proximity to DC and how close Loudoun is to everything, yet how it feels so far away. In this image, our Key talent is being "helped" by a female farmer to the picnic where her travel partners are all waiting at a picnic in the vines.
